Sometimes it is necessary to see inside of your pet. We do this through digital radiology and ultrasound.

Vegreville Veterinary Clinic offers in-house digital x-rays and ultrasound to assist us in further diagnosing your pet’s health issues.

This equipment is useful in the diagnosis of many internal health issues including:

  • Orthopedics – i.e. hip dysplasia, disc disease, ligament tears, patella luxation;
  • Trauma – i.e. head trauma, bone fractures, joint dislocation, internal injuries like bleeding and organ trauma;
  • Pregnancy diagnosis
  • Bladder issues – i.e. infections and stones
  • Heart disease
  • Lung disease
  • Foreign bodies – i.e. objects ingested

Our family has two beagles, and we have been clients at the Vegreville Veterinary Clinic for five years. All the members of their team are so dedicated and compassionate. One of our beagles had a ripped stitch following a dental procedure. The dog’s mouth was bleeding a fair bit, but it was Sunday and we didn’t know what to do. We contacted the Clinic and the veterinarian repaired the stitch that night! They are always there when our animals need them!
