Vegreville Veterinary Clinic provides both routine and emergency reproductive medicine. Although we offer on-farm visits, we recommend that all animals requiring reproductive diagnosis and treatment be brought into our facility. This helps to control biosecurity and allows our team to work in a safe and efficient environment.

The reproductive health of your mare and its growing fetus is extremely important. We offer the following reproductive services for horses:

  • Ultrasound-guided pregnancy checks
  • Uterine lavage
  • Cycling
  • Care of pregnant mares
  • Foal care
